MALT SHOVEL - BEESTON
On Monday October 12th we dropped off in Beeston on the way back from the hospital. As it was dinner time 
we called in at the Malt Shovel for something to eat. Gill went for the Lasagne Verdi, I had wholetail scampi with garden peas and a crisp salad. Oh yes and chips. Monday to Saturday from 12 noon until 3pm two meals cost £8 with a choice of 14 main dishes. If your only after a snack there are light snacks, Bloomer sandwiches and Baguettes. There is a choice of 7 wines at £2.80 and £3.85 per glass or £8.40 per bottle. The staff were not exactly over friendly but the food was good and the place was comfortable and clean. Gill gave the Ladies toilets 7/10. Don’t ask its a woman thing.
