Erewash Borough Council have received an application for a certificate of lawfulness for the use of site for scrap metal recycling and car dismantling at J C Simpkins Car Spares Clifton Avenue Long Eaton.
A car has been taken from the drive of a house on Florin Gardens Long Eaton. The incident occurred between 10pm on Sunday October 30th and 6am the following morning. The occupant left the vehicle locked on the drive but didn’t lock the front door of the house. The key was put on a hook near the front door. The following morning the key and the car had gone.
A van was stolen from outside a house on Longmoor Road Long Eaton between noon on Saturday October 29th and 2.30pm the following day. After staying overnight with a relative the occupant returned to find that the kitchen window had been forced and the keys to the vehicle missing.

Burglars took a computer, guitar, cash and credit cards from a house on Lathkilldale Crescent.

A house was broken into on Milldale Road between 8am on May 28th and 9.45 on Thursday June 2nd. Entry was gained by forcing the Patio Doors. The house was searched but nothing was taken. Police think they may have been disturbed.
