RISLEY PARK TRADITIONAL JAZZ CLUB

The Risley Park Traditional Jazz Club starts its programme for 2012 on Wednesday February 1st with a performance by the Savannah Jazz Band, Yorkshires premier traditional style band. The club which is now in its 15th year, will then continue to present different bands from around the UK and Europe, once every fortnight throughout the year.
Risley Park Jazz Club is a well attended and friendly club organised and hosted by Ken Godfrey. It plays host to high quality jazz bands, usually six or seven piece, fortnightly on Wednesday evenings at the Risley Park pub/restaurant, situated on Derby Road, Risley, DE72 3SS near junction 25 of the M1 motorway.
The jazz sessions are held in the comfortable ground floor function room with its own dedicated bar. A free supper is provided during the evening. Admission is usually £8, payable on entry. Everyone is welcome and membership is not necessary. There is ample free parking. Doors open from 7pm and the live music starts at 8.30pm finishing at 11pm. For more information visit
