FIVE ARRESTED FOLLOWING ASSAULT IN TOWN

On the 19th July, police officers were called to Long Eaton after reports a male had been stabbed.

The 26 year old man suffered a wound to his arm and back and was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre, where he was discharged several hours later.

Five males were arrested, questioned and later released on suspicion of involvement in the attack.
