The ever-popular Vibe programme of exciting free activities for young people aged 10 to 19 years is taking place during the Easter half term at key locations across Erewash. Organised by Erewash Community Safety Partnership, there will be a range of free activities each day from 14 to 25 April - including multi-sports, music and dance by ‘Baby People’, arts and crafts and Erewash Borough Council’s mobile climbing wall and skatepark. Sessions will run each day (excluding Good Friday and Bank Holiday Monday) from either 2pm-4pm for 10-14 year olds and 6pm-8pm for young people aged 15-19 years.
Locations include Kirk Hallam, Cotmanhay, Sandiacre, Sawley and the Petersham area of Long Eaton. Councillor Carol Hart, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Community Engagement and Chairman of Erewash Community Safety Partnership, says:
“A key priority of the Partnership is to tackle anti-social behaviour and the activities are aimed at providing a diversion for young people and to enable them to meet others in their age group and organisations which can provide support.”Full details of exact locations and activities on offer can be found at
