AND THE BAND PLAYS ON
Erewash Borough Council’s popular Bold as Brass programme draws to a close this month with a Bank Holiday concert by Matlock Band in the gardens of Erewash Museum. Brass music fans can take along chairs and pack up a picnic to enjoy the free summertime concert on Bank Holiday Monday 25th August between 2pm and 3.30pm. Councillor Mike Wallis, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Culture and Leisure, says:
“What better way to spend a Bank Holiday afternoon than with family and friends while listening to popular brass tunes and enjoying a picnic in the beautiful surroundings of our award winning Museum.”

Erewash Museum is just off the High Street in Ilkeston town centre, a short walk from Market Place. Admission is free and it is open Monday to Saturday during school holidays between 10am-4pm.
