ITS SILVER FOR LONG EATON’S WILL SHARMAN

Long Eaton’s Will Sharman was pipped to Commonwealth Games gold in the 110m hurdles by four hundredths of a second in Glasgowon Tuesday evening. The 29-year-old, who came second four years ago in Delhi, clocked 13.36 seconds behind Jamaica's Andrew Riley who won in 13.32. Shane Brathwaite from Barbados took the bronze. After a good start Sharman and Riley hit the front but a mistake at the eighth let in Riley who pipped him at the post.
