A Long Eaton man has been fined £350 after his car collided with fencing in Draycott Road. Kevin John Cooke, 46, of Hilton Close, Sawley, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention when he appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court. He also pleaded guilty to damaging property and failing to stop following an accident. On top of the fine Cooke had his driving licence endorsed with seven penalty points and was ordered to pay £35 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
