Walking with the Long Eaton Rambling Club; By John Aram

The Long Eaton rambling club, a long established walking group is now inviting new members to join them to experience the pleasures of getting out in the countryside, to enjoy the benefits of keeping fit and healthy. Walks arranged every Sunday taking in the fresh air, beautiful surroundings, with good friends and pleasant chat.
The Long Eaton rambling club has a full and varied programme of walks throughout the year, walks arranged every weekend and midweek. The club also enjoys days out, weekends away and holidays.
Generally the club walk varying distances up to approximately 10 miles on Sundays with slightly shorter walks on Thursdays, the walks are taken at a relatively easy pace so you don’t have to be a seasoned hiker. Our aim is to make walks fun, friendly and above all enjoyable.

We operate a car share system unlike other groups, Sunday walks always start in Long Eaton so to keep travelling costs to a minimum. Walking is a wonderfully sociable activity and walking and talking fit together perfectly, come and join us on one of our forthcoming walks.
