The Church Wilne Rotary's annual senior citizens tea party was held on Saturday 19th May at the Sawley Church Hall when 85 guests enjoyed an afternoon of good food, drinks and entertainment. John Gregory was in charge of the many passengers collected from within the area by coach and 12 Church Wilne Rotarians collected the others by car. The musical entertainment was provided by Clive Allen with lots of singing throughout the afternoon by the guests plus and Rotarians. The final hour was spent by many of the guests dancing and they all went away with flowers and memories of a very happy occasion. All the guests went away having enjoyed a wonderful afternoon and were presented on their departure with a potted plant of their choice.
