Would-be robber tries to snatch bag in Long Eaton
A would-be robber punched a man in the face and tried to take his bag. At around 12.30am on Monday, July 6, a 21-year-old man was walking along Bennett Street, Long Eaton, when a man came out of an alleyway and tried to snatch his bag.
The victim resisted and was punched in the face. He got free and ran home to call police. He suffered grazing to his face. He has described the man who attacked him as white with brown hair. Moped stolen from outside flats in Long Eaton
Police are appealing for information after a moped was stolen from Long Eaton.
Sometime between Sunday, June 21 at midnight and Monday, June 22 at 4am a black Longjia moped was stolen from outside flats on High Street. Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Robert Smith on 101 quoting crime reference number 26184/15.
