LANGLEY MILL INQUESTS ADJOURNED

Inquests into the deaths of Amy Smith, Ruby-Grace Gaunt and Edward Green in the Langley Mill fire have been opened and adjourned. The three died in the blaze during the early hours of Sunday June 21st.
The three inquests were all opened and adjourned at Derby and South Derbyshire Coroner's Court on July 3rd. A police spokesman said: "The fire service were called to a house
fire in North Street Langley Mill, at 4am where the bodies of Amy Smith, Ruby-Grace Gaunt and Edward Green were found."
Miss Smith and Mr Green, both 17, were identified by dental records and DNA , while Ruby-Grace was identified by her DNA . A post mortem, at Leicester Royal Infirmary, found that the cause of all three deaths were due to smoke inhalation. Peter Eyre and Anthony Eyre, both of Central Avenue, Sandiacre, and Simon Eyre, of New Tythe Street, Long Eaton, who have each been charged with three counts of murder have been remanded in custody.
