LONG EATON MAN HURT IN FIGHT

Police in Long Eaton are appealing for witnesses to an assault in the town in the early hours of Sunday June 21st. Officers were called to a report that a man had been injured during a fight outside The Twitchel Inn on Howitt Street at about 1.35am. A 21-year-old man sustained a cut on his leg during what is thought to be a racially aggravated assault. The man received treatment at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.
