TWO ARRESTS AFTER DISTURBANCE ON PETERSHAM ROOF

Police have arrested two men on suspicion of affray following a disturbance in Long Eaton. Officers were called to Grasmere Road, Long Eaton at around 4.45pm on Thursday, February 11th following reports of two men throwing items, including glass bottles, from the roof of a building. The two men refused to come down from the roof and in order to protect the public, officers cordoned off the area. At around 1.20am the following morning, the two men, aged 23 and 27-years-old, came down from the building and were arrested on suspicion of affray. The pair currently remain in police custody.
