Police are appealing for information after they were called to an alleged attempted robbery in Long Eaton. t around 3.10am on Sunday, March 13, a 30-year-old man said that when he was walking along a jitty off Nelson Street he was approached by two other men.
He said they demanded his phone before stabbing him in the stomach. They left empty handed. The two offenders were described as white, aged between 18-20-years-old and about 6ft tall. The men were of medium build and both wore dark plain hooded tops, with the hoods pulled up over their faces. The victim suffered a minor wound that did not require stitches.
Following the incident, officers are appealing to anyone who may have seen two men matching the description above to contact them.
