Police have issued footage of three women they want to speak to after an elderly lady had her bank card stolen. The 90-year-old victim had drawn cash out at the Barclays branch in High Street, Nottingham, before heading home on the bus to Sandiacre. As she neared her house, two women approached her and asked for directions, showing her a map. A number of suspicious transactions were later spotted on the account by Barclays staff and, after they phoned the victim to check, it emerged that her bank card had been stolen. The transactions were then stopped. Officers have now issued CCTV footage of three women they want to speak to in connection with the theft, which happened on March 3rd.
One of the women is shown in the branch of Barclays where the victim initially drew money out. The second and third are shown catching the same bus as the victim and alighting at the same stop in Sandiacre.
Anyone who recognises any of the women should call PC Tom Craig on 101, quoting crime reference 9674/16. Alternatively, send him a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website
