The Trinity Methodist Church on Cross St Long Eaton has recently installed a Defibrillator on the outside of its building for use by the public if an emergency arises. It follows discussion at a Church Council meeting in February to which members gave its approval. A subscription list was set up and generous donations were received from Church members and friends, the Long Eaton Rotary Club, the Salvation Army and the Long Eaton Judo Club. At a short service on Saturday morning the 16th July a plaque was unveiled to mark its installation and give thanks to all who donated towards it.
