Long Eaton Baptist Church, Station Street is holding a Harvest Thanksgiving service on Sunday 18th September at 10.30 am. This year we have a speaker from ‘Framework’, a charity and housing association based in Nottingham, which is dedicated to helping homeless people, and promoting opportunities for vulnerable and excluded people. Frameworkaims to change and save lives in three main ways - by working to prevent homelessness, by helping homeless people, and by encouraging people to live independent lives.
But, this work has not been done without turbulence. Every year more people and families have turned to Framework for help. How can these needs be met as funding from National Government diminishes and Local Authority budgets shrink?
This is where our support is so vital. If you are interested to find out more, the Framework web-site is a good place to start: www.frameworkha.org
